BC Place, located at 777 Pacific Boulevard in Vancouver, is an iconic multi-purpose indoor arena in British Columbia, Canada. Since its opening in 1983, the stadium has become a vital part of the region's sporting and cultural life. Originally equipped with the world's largest air-supported roof, BC Place underwent a significant renovation following the 2010 Winter Olympics. As a result of the renovation, the arena received a retractable roof covering over 7,500 square meters, making it the largest of its kind. The stadium can accommodate up to 54,320 spectators for Canadian football and 22,120 for soccer matches, featuring FIFA-recommended Polytan LigaTurf 240 RS+ artificial turf. BC Place is home to the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League and the Vancouver Whitecaps of the Major League Soccer.
